Lithographic Printing
Fully Equiped for the
Longest of Print Runs
Lithographic printing, more commonly referred to as Litho printing, or sometimes offset printing, is the more traditional method of printing that continues to hold significant value in the packaging industry.
This age-old technique involves transferring an image from a plate to a rubber blanket and finally onto the printing surface, which allows for high-quality, vibrant prints that are essential for eye-catching packaging.
When compared to digital printing, lithography shines in its ability to efficiently produce large volumes of prints at a high speed, making it particularly cost-effective for large runs. It is also the only option for larger boxes with its ability to print on larger B1 sheets, whilst digital is currently limited to half that size at B2.
Unlike digital printing, which excels in shorter runs with variable data capabilities, lithographic printing sets a high standard for consistency, colour accuracy, and detail in high-volume orders, ensuring that each package stands out on the shelves with a professional finish.
