Wild Development: Sustainable packaging to reinforce company values
What was the issue?
Delga Press has been working with Wild since 2021 and has been working with the team to develop and improve their product packaging.
Wild’s concept surrounds significant sustainable influence, aiming to eliminate single-use plastic whilst offering high-performing products made from natural ingredients that never compromise convenience or efficacy.
Wild has developed a reusable deodorant applicator made from aluminium that lasts a lifetime. Reusable deodorants are sold in a bamboo pulp refill, saving 30 grams of plastic going to landfill per unit!
How did we solve it?
Delga Press has been working with Wild to develop sustainable printed packaging solutions for their refill products. The designs and specifications are classic and simple, removing plastic use (laminations) or anything else that compromises Wild’s sustainable ethos and commitment.
Today, Delga Press prints and manufactures Wild’s cartons, product sleeves and self-assembly mailers.
We specifically worked to develop a D2C packaging solution that could hold between 1 and 5 mini stick deodorants. We managed to significantly reduce the overall size, deliver a cost-saving, simplify their packaging product lines and fulfilment process, and reduce waste. Wild was thrilled with the outcome as it reinforces their sustainable ethos.
