UK print company The Delga Group has successfully completed a CPOS, with ownership of the group now transferred fully to managing director Ian Conetta, and fellow directors Stuart McLellan, Sam Grist and Paul Ridgewell.
Following the completion of the CPOS process, whereby the company purchased its own shares, Delga Group has rebranded to become The Meliora Group. Meliora is Latin for ‘the pursuit of the better’. Group companies Delga Press, Delga Labels, CSP, Scarbutts Printers and TT Litho will continue to trade as normal.
Mr Conetta said, ‘We are delighted to finally announce this exciting news, which has been carefully planned for some time now. The group has been managed by our board for a number of years, all of whom bring a different strength to the team, all sharing the same vision for our business.’
The new-look group is to continue with its plan to diversify, invest and recruit to further develop its proposition, customer experience and business growth.
Mr Conetta continued, ‘We have already successfully implemented many changes, and we have more to come. Significant investment has been made, introducing new technology and equipment with more to follow shortly. This has allowed us to increase our service offering to our customers and enabled us to compete in new market sectors with an enhanced range of USPs.
‘We have also invested into our staff and will continue to build further upon this great team.’
He concluded, ‘Our new strapline, ‘for the pursuit of the better’, could not be more fitting. Our aim is to continually develop across our group of print businesses, focussed to do better in everything we do. We shall continue to strive to provide the best print solutions across the UK.’
